COVERAGES
Debris removal: Pays you reasonable expense
of removing debris after a covered peril causes damage your
property. This expense is included in the policy limit.
Reasonable repairs: In the event your
residence property is damaged by a covered peril, your policy
will pay the costs for steps taken to protect your property
from further damage.
Trees, shrubs and plants: Your policy will
pay for loss to trees, shrubs, plants and lawn due to specified
perils up to 5 percent of your home insured value (not more
than $500 for any one tree, shrub and plant). This is in
addition to your limits. The perils of wind, weight of ice and
snow, and disease are excluded.
Fire department service charge: Your policy
pays up to $500 for liability assumed by you for fire
department charges to save or protect your residence
property.
Collapse: Collapse of a structure is
covered on a named peril basis, as listed in your policy.
Glass breakage: Glass that is part of a
covered building, including storm doors and windows, is covered
unless the dwelling has been vacant for more than 60
consecutive days immediately before the loss.
Landlord's furnishings: If you rent out a
furnished room that is part of your residence premises, your
policy will cover those furnishings up to a maximum of $2,500
on a named peril basis. No theft coverage.
Building ordinance: 10 percent of your
insured value on your residence premises.
Grave markers: Your homeowner policy covers
up to $5,000 on gravemarkers (including mausoleums) located
both on and off your residence premises.
