COVERAGE FOR SEWER BACK-UP

Sewer back-up coverage provides protection for direct loss caused by water back-ups from sewers, drains, and sump pumps. This coverage does not include the equipment itself that caused the damage; it covers only the items and property damaged as a result. Coverage, as usual, is subject to a deductible. Sewer back-up coverage is an extra endorsement for a minimal premium that can be added to your homeowner policy.
